I always wanted to know Japanese names and their meanings for some reason so I looked up some names. In the writing there are symbols and the names actually mean something. I found some of these name meanings interesting and I was thinking about branding and how some companies use the play on words to create their own image and name. If parents were naming a baby a Japanese name this would be helpful to known what the child's name actually means in Japanese. I had no idea that last names weren't common among Samurai and noblemen in the past. There are actually two kanji symbols that make up a surname and that I didn't know. Kanji I learned before is these Japanese's characters and its common to refer to someone from their last name
